Accounts Receivable Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for the company’s accounts receivable transactions and debt recovery. Previous experience in accounts receivable is essential. Experience in a construction company would be an advantage.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Daily & weekly billing runs
  • Managing email & phone-based queries
  • Daily Forecast (Actuals vs Forecast) reporting
  • Running of receivable reports
  • Follow up on current and overdue accounts
  • End of month duties
  • Investigating and resolving queries relation to non-payment
  • Account reconciliations/Ledgers/Debt Collection & Allocations
  • Time efficiency
  • Working to monthly and annually collections targets
  • General admin support and data entry

ABOUT YOU:

  • Three years minimum of equivalent experience within the Construction industry or Credit Control/Accounts Receivable
  • Prior knowledge of end-to-end receivables
  • Proficient with Salesforce
  • Solid AU based Credit Control/Accounts experience
  • Methodical worker and calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work co-operatively and effectively as part of a team/autonomously
