About The Role:
- Providing expert advice on various tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax planning.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support tax strategies and compliance efforts.
- Preparing and reviewing tax-related documents, including tax opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.
- Assisting in client meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions related to tax issues.
- Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and strategic advice.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as finance and accounting, to ensure tax compliance and optimisation.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall growth and success of the tax practice.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years PQE in Tax law
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations is an advantage
