Credit Control Officer/Credit Controller

OUR CLIENT

Our client is an UKn group who operates businesses in the media and advertising sector. With over 1,000 colleagues operating in 50 offices across the country, they use powerful advertising through PR, marketing strategy, social media, and influencers to spread their message and overall image.

As part of their expansion, our client is seeking someone who has a passion for start-ups and who can oversee the implementation of creative campaigns to generate leads, pipeline, and ultimately increase revenue.


THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will be working within our close-knit Finance team. A Credit Controller must have excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management abilities to manage debts and reduce past-due and high-risk loans. You will be:

  • Monitoring overdraft and delinquent accounts to make sure that future payments are made
  • Aiding in the upkeep of agreements reached in the Debtor Management System
  • Regulating a large volume ledger, maintaining debtor information, and keeping an eye on credit limitations
  • Reconcile intricate finances while paying close attention to details.
  • Internally monitor and manage credit limits with the proper staff
  • Reconciling extensive accounting and having a keen eye for detail
  • Giving professional advice in response to inquiries by identifying the best answers
  • Restricting account access when necessary

ABOUT YOU
To be qualified for this role, a Credit Control Officer is someone who:

  • Has a solid background in credit control
  • Is a strong communicator and highly organised
  • Enjoys a challenge and has experience working on more complex billings having used a medium to large ERP system
  • Is a professional with strong work ethic and a preference for corporate environments

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of financial work experience, experienced in accountant or financial supervisor is preferred.
  • Bachelors in accounting or diploma (Bachelors is preferred)
  • High-class verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic software such as Xero, Excel, etc.
