Rehabilitation Counsellor/Psychologist - Hybrid Role

The Role
Take your career to the next level with this Team Leader position, designed for a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant. This hybrid role allows you to lead a talented team while managing a reduced caseload of diverse clients, including Workers Compensation, NDIS, CTP, ComCare, and WHS cases.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Support and guide a team of rehabilitation consultants to achieve their professional goals while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Tailored Rehabilitation Plans: Deliver individualised assessments, interventions, and counselling to support clients on their recovery journey.
  • Caseload Flexibility: Manage a reduced portfolio with the freedom to work from home, the office, or client sites.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to address barriers to recovery and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct vocational evaluations, worksite assessments, and initial needs assessments using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Reporting & Communication: Maintain clear and accurate case notes, progress reports, and stakeholder communication.

Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Australian driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
